Jim Farley began The J.P. Farley Corporation, managing eligibility and billing administration for a large multiple employer plan.

Utilized first provider network to offer our self-funded clients the opportunity to have benefits with a national network.

Jim Farley became President of Self-Funded Institute of Ohio and was appointed to Ohio Department of Insurance Administrators Review Board. As Jim was being recognized, the company also began to thrive.

Implemented first direct electronic data interchange connection to plan sponsor’s payroll system, and implemented 834/ eligibility system eliminating manual eligibility entry; Jim became Chairman of Society of Professional Benefit Administration (SPBA).

Ahead of the curve, J.P. Farley began a green initiative to be paper free and all claims started to be stored electronically. This all began the new era as the first jpfarley.com website began to roll out.

J.P. Farley Corporation became ISO 9002 Certified, the first TPA in Ohio and the second in the nation, by implementing procedures and audited standards established by the International Standards Organization.

Expanded use of the VBA platform to our website with full integration capabilities. This enabled plan representatives and participants to view their claims & eligibility information in real time.

Jim appointed to Healthcare Administers Association (HCAA) Board.

J.P. Farley reimagines the Corporation’s business model to improve the patient and client experience by humanizing healthcare from appointment to payment, drive positive change through innovation and provide clarity in every dollar spent.

Michelle Bounce, Chief Operating Officer, obtains a share in ownership and becomes a partner of J.P. Farley Corporation to carry on the vision and legacy for decades to come.
